Olive Oil Pickletini

If you’ve never tried fat-washed vodka, this is your sign. Infusing vodka with olive oil adds a silky mouthfeel and subtle pepperiness that instantly elevates a classic martini. A splash of pickle brine (preferably Hot Girl Pickles) cuts through with just the right amount of acidity. The result is a perfectly festive, briny cocktail made for New Year’s Eve, especially alongside mini cocktail weenies!

Ingredients

(Olive Oil Vodka)

  • 1/4 cup Smash Kitchen Robust Olive Oil 
  • 1 cup Vodka

(Pickletini) 

  • 2 oz Olive oil fat washed vodka 
  • 1/2 oz Vermouth 
  • 1 oz Hot Girl Pickles “Original Dill” pickle brine
Instructions

(Olive Oil Vodka)

  1. Combine the vodka and Smash Kitchen Robust Olive Oil in a jar, cover with a lid and shake. 
  2. Leave on the countertop to sit for 2 hours, then place into the freezer until the olive oil has solidified.
  3. Remove from the freezer and strain through a coffee filter to remove all solid oil. 

(Pickletini)

  1. Add the fat-washed vodka, vermouth, and pickle brine to a shaker filled with ice.
  2. Shake vigorously until well chilled.
  3. Strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
  4. Garnish with a pickle, dill and extra drizzle of Smash Kitchen Robust EVOO.
