Growing up around Texas backyard barbecues and weeknight dinners, flavor was never an afterthought. But the pantry staples that brought those meals together didn’t always measure up. 

That’s why we created Smash Kitchen

We set out to give everyday pantry staples the same care as the meals they’re part of. Better ingredients. Bold, familiar flavor. Nothing unnecessary.

We started with clean-label versions of classic condiments. Now, we’re bringing that spirit to the rest of the pantry: oils for cooking, meal builders for weeknight dinners, chips and salsas for snacking, and sauces for everything from burgers to dessert.

Raised on Texas barbecue, Glen understands how food brings people together. Drawing from his love of all-American cuisine, he set out to rethink pantry staples with the same approach he brings to cooking at home: clean ingredients, real recipes, and flavor that delivers.

Sameer Mehta

Co-Founder & CEO

Sameer has spent his career building category-defining consumer brands, from helping launch Casper to co-founding Jinx, a premium dog food company. He leads Smash Kitchen with that same mindset, bringing clean staples to homes across the country.

Sean Kane

Co-Founder & President

Sean helped build The Honest Company into a billion-dollar personal care brand before bringing that same approach to Hello Bello’s eco-minded diapers. At Smash Kitchen, he focuses on thoughtful ingredients, clear sourcing, and products made for everyday kitchens.
