Lunchbox Sliders
Back to school is right around the corner and that means it’s time to pack lunches that make the grade. These juicy, veggie-packed cheeseburger sliders are a fun twist on a classic, perfect for the first day (or any day). Ingredients
- 8 oz ground beef
- ¼ cup minced Red Onion
- ¼ cup minced carrots
- ¼ cup minced mushrooms
- 1 tsp salt
- ¼ cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 8 slider buns
- Smash Kitchen Classic Tomato Ketchup
- Smash Kitchen Yellow Mustard
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine ground beef, red onion, carrots, mushrooms, and salt. Mix until fully incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and roll into balls.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add the meatballs and press down to flatten into patties. Cook for 3–4 minutes per side, or until browned and cooked through.
- Top each patty with shredded cheese and cover the skillet to melt.
- Assemble sliders on buns with Smash Kitchen Classic Tomato Ketchup and Yellow Mustard.
- Serve with a side of fresh veggies and fruit for a balanced lunchbox win.
