Ingredients
- 1 (28 oz) bag frozen tater tots
- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 4 slices American cheese, cut into quarters
- Smash Kitchen Avocado Oil Spray
- Kosher salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Smash Kitchen Classic Tomato Ketchup
- Smash Kitchen Yellow Mustard
- Pickle slices
- Toothpicks, for serving
Instructions
- Lightly spray the tater tots with Smash Kitchen Avocado Oil Spray and air fry at 400°F for 15–18 minutes, shaking halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
- Heat a cast iron skillet over high heat until smoking and lightly coat with Smash Kitchen Avocado Oil Spray.
- Divide the beef into 10 equal balls. Place on the skillet, smash flat with a spatula, and season with salt and pepper.
- Cook for 2-3 minutes, flip, top with a quarter slice of cheese, and cook for 1–2 minutes until the cheese is melted.
- Assemble each burger with one tater tot, ketchup, mustard, the cheeseburger, a pickle slice, and a second tater tot. Secure with a toothpick and serve immediately.
