Gameday BBQ Sauce Wings

Ingredients
- 3 lbs of chicken wings, drums, or flats
- 3 tbsp neutral oil (canola, vegetable, avocado)
- 2 tbsp baking powder
- Salt and pepper
- Smash Kitchen American Style BBQ Sauce
- Optional: Scallion and sesame seeds for topping
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
- In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with the neutral oil, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
- Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they're spread out evenly. Bake for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
- Once the wings are crispy and cooked, remove them from the oven. Toss the wings in the American Style BBQ sauce until well coated.
- Transfer the BBQ-coated wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sliced scallions and toasted sesame seeds.
