Ingredients
  • 3 lbs of chicken wings, drums, or flats
  • 3 tbsp neutral oil (canola, vegetable, avocado)
  • 2 tbsp baking powder
  • Salt and pepper
  • Smash Kitchen American Style BBQ Sauce
  • Optional: Scallion and sesame seeds for topping
Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove any excess moisture.
  3. In a large bowl, toss the chicken wings with the neutral oil, baking powder, salt, and pepper.
  4. Place the wings on the prepared baking sheet, making sure they're spread out evenly. Bake for 30-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until crispy and cooked through.
  5. Once the wings are crispy and cooked, remove them from the oven. Toss the wings in the American Style BBQ sauce until well coated.
  6. Transfer the BBQ-coated wings to a serving platter. Sprinkle with sliced scallions and toasted sesame seeds.
